Meet Norcast Sales Director Nick Newbrough – a sales tornado. While tackling a double major in Business Admin and Mass Communications (plus, let’s not forget the minor in Statistics) at San Jose State University, Nick found he had a natural passion for detail and to help people be informed. This led quickly to being a consistent top salesman wherever he landed. These great abilities put him into management at any place that’s been lucky enough to have him. We think his amazing work ethic and stick-to-it-iv-ness is amazing.
Recently, we think Nick knocked it out of park with Cuesta Medical Group as they needed to change phone systems. John Ruffner, Office Manager, was impressed with how Nick stayed on the job until it was a complete solution. “Which,” as he says, “is really big these days.” He thought many tech companies seem to find a fix and then walk away, but “Nick really stuck with it.”
The Central Coast has become his place of choice after trying a couple of interesting cities in his “youth.” He’s an outdoor-ing guy and loves fishing, hunting, hiking, camping – really anything that involves the outdoors and his good friends.
2-year-old Brayden keeps him on his toes as Nick has loved becoming a father. He may move into parenting books, but for now his favorite read has been, “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson. A man that Nick thinks is amazing for his vision and determination. A John Wooden quote sums up a lot of the inner workings of Nick, “Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”
